News from Knab

Our Birthday!

Can you believe that on 16th August it will be 5 years since Mary and Ian took over Knab Farm Shop.  We cannot deny it has been challenging, but we have very much enjoyed becoming part of the local community.   We thank all our loyal customers for sticking with us – we hope to be here in another 5 years!

Can you remember what Knab farm Shop looked like 5 years ago?

It’s our birthday!

As we head into the summer holidays, we have been giving some thought to launching Knab Kids Club.  Our thinking is very much in the formative stages, we would welcome feedback, our initial thoughts are;

1. We extend our range of kids healthy drinks and snacks.

2. We offer a 10% discount on fruit bought between 15.00-17.00 (school run home)

3. If a minimum £5 spent per week, you are entered into a monthly rewards prize draw*

(* we will be contacting local organisations to offer prizes BUT does anyone work for a business that might want to sponsor this initiative? If so please get in touch).

People often ask..

about our delivery schedule, so here it is:

Monday: Moss Valley Pork, Our Cow Molly Milk, Longley Farm Yogurts, Liberty quiche and pasties

Tuesday: Eggs

Wednesday : New Close Farm Meat and pies, Our Cow Molly Milk, Bhaji Shop Bhajis and Samosas, East West curries

Thursday: Moss Valley Pork, 4 Eyes Sourdough, Liberty Quiche and pasties

Friday: 4 eyes Sourdough and croissants, Our Cow Molly Milk

Did you know?

We are happy to do home deliveries.  We already deliver to a number of our elderly customers who can no longer visit us in person and are happy to do deliveries to anyone leading a busy life which means they struggle to drop in.

If you would you benefit from such a service or know someone that would please do get in touch.

You may have seen the Sheffield Hamper Company boxes around the shop; did you know that we ship hampers to any address in the UK.  Over the next few months we will be stretching the boundaries and including produce from the Peak District in our hampers.  The hampers make for a really thoughtful gift.  www.sheffieldhampercompany.co.uk

Just a thought

If we organised a community barbeque at the end of august using Moss Valley meat, would you pay £5 a head to cover costs? Let us know.
